6th August 2007 - An update?  *gasp!*

Yes, friends, I've finally pulled my fucking finger out of my arse and decided to do a wee site update as a way of trying out Nvu (an open-source WYSIWYG HTML editor) on my shiny new Macbook.   Mmm, new toys.

So, just what the smeg have I been doing with myself since I last posted an entry here?  Well, The Mocha Nights finished their demo album I co-produced and co-engineered.  James Mackenzie did the mix, but I fancy pulling out the master files and having a crack at doing my own mix.  I've actually went back to the first EP we did in 2005 and had a bash at remixing that, so we'll see what happens.

I've started podcasting properly, with a new show called NeiloMac's Music Attack - see the podcast page link to the left for full info.

I got a Variax 300 and a Pod XT Live, and a new accoustic guitar as well.  I'll get the gear page updated with piccies and my thoughts as soon as I can.

I had a crack at the RPM challenge, a challenge to write and record an entire album during the month of february.  I got all the music written and recorded, and a chunk of the vocals and lyrics, but I never finished it in time.  At some stage I'll get it totally done and stick the album up here for your delectation.

So, yeah, it's all go at NeiloMac towers.  I'll definitely try to keep this page more up to date now that I've got my Macbook set up for easy page editing.  Bwahahahah.  I <3 Macs now.
