OH. MY. FUCKING. GOD.

WHAT A NIGHT~!~!~!~!

The HND bands definitely stole the show last night; Scunner Campbell were tighter than a cheap condom, and The Reverend Neil McDougall (i.e. me, Gerard, Martin & James) FUCKING ROCKED THE ARSE OFF IT. I was in full stage mode flow I tells ya. Foot on the monitor, full on rock out mode. I think I surprised a few people to say the least 😀

We were tight, we were loud (turned up all the knobs on my bass…with the active EQ all the way up in all thre channels it distorted the bass, making it sound fatter than a cheap Dutch hooker), we were ROCKIN’. I think the only thing that would have made the night complete would have been me getting laid. LMAO! Save that for Tuts. C’mere Ruth! >;-)

Anyways, James has video footage (cammed by the ever helpful Mr Steven Clark), and the soundboard output was recorded, so I’m asssuming James will sync the two together and make a swanktastic VCD for us all. WOOO~!

Man, I’m still buzzin’….hardly got any sleep. Worth it tho 🙂

How will we top it for Tuts? I don’t know, but I know we will. We have to.

\m/ ROCK THE FUCK ON! \m/

Gig tonight! Wooooooo!

Yes, that’s right folks, tonight I hit the stage at Strawberry Fields in Glasgow. Not the most amazingly prestigious venue by any stretch, but it should be fun, and biz-ay. It’s the college christmas party, so it’ll likely be packed. Possibly with hot young acting students. MUAHHAHAHAHAHA~!

We’re doing three songs; Joy.Discovery.Invention by Biffy Clyro, one of my songs, Conflict Of Interest, which has been stripped down and rocked out somewhat, and God Gave Rock ‘N’ Roll To You, which has bits of Jingle Bells in it. Muahahaah 🙂

It should be REALLY fucking fun, and I’m getting more and more hyped up for it as time goes by. WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO~! [/ric flair]

Full report on the gig tomorrow, if I don’t die of alcohol poisoning or end up in some drama student’s bed. Bwahahhhahaha!

ROCK OUT YOU FUCKERS! SEEYA IN TOKYO BITCH! RELEASE THE FUCKING FYOOOORYYYY!

Ahem.

HE’S BACK~!~!~!

Good GAWD, it’s been a long time, been a long time, been a long and lonely lonely loney time since I updated this mother.

So, what’s been happening with me since the last time I updated this? Well, I’m now a successful rock musician, touring the world and recording million-selling albums.

HAH! I WISH!

Nah, nothing as big as that. I’m in my last year of college and deciding whether I want to do uni or not. I’ve also been making waves with recordings I’ve been doing over the summer, and I’ve bagged a small record deal with my friend’s record label, Fisted Records. One of my tracks, Don’t Belong, will be appearing on the label’s first compilation CD, which I’m also helping to mix and master. If I can get a band together, there’s a decent ish chance of a full length album, which I’d be producing and engineering, naturally. Providing we could find a decent way of recording drums 😛

Oh, if you want to check out my demos, have a look at My Soundclick Page.

I’m playing the college Creative Arts Dept. Christmas Party with my band, The Reverend Neil McDougall (yes, I’m an ordained minister, through Universal Ministries. Put my religion down as ‘Jedi’ :P). We’re only doing three songs at the party, but our proper gig at King Tuts will have us playing a 40-minute set, so we might have to throw caution to the wind, turn the amps up to 11 and bust out some ‘Jazz Odyssey (sp?)’.

Should be a blast tho. The Christmas Party set will hopefully be recorded onto CD, so I’m gonna try to upload it somewhere.

So, there you have it. I’m back and hopefully I’ll remember to update this SOB more often.
